Report

The boys started in a positive mood against top of the table Kiddi Lions and were soon awarded a free kick. Millsy shot towards goal and after a scramble, Ben forced the ball over the line (1-0).  It was a very windy day, but the wind was in our favour in the first half, the boys made full use of this advantage and were soon 2-0 up when Tom S lashed home a shot from distance which the keeper failed to hold.

We played some really good football in the fist half and thoroughly deserved to be leading. In the second half Kiddi Lions had a lot of possession, although rarely troubled the Stourbridge goal, but when called upon, H was equal to the task. JT was strong throughout and showed a number of nice touches and trickery in tight situations -  he was deservedly awarded MOTM by the coaches.

This was only the second time Kiddi had lost this season, which just goes what can be achieved with hard work and a bit of belief. Well done boys!
